G'day, people. TM, enjoy your day. The pool party sounds like it will be a blast! Trish, I was drafting my reply when you posted. Sorry the prednisone is giving you such trouble. How did little cherub cope over the weekend? We've had an interesting day. My telephone conference went well and I'm glad we didn't make the trip in. I'm getting better slowly, I should be well enough to go in for next week's meeting. I have to go with difficult child 1 tomorrow to see his new specialist. I've tried telephoning him tonight to remind him; they must be out. I'll have to call him first thing in the morning. Politically it's been interesting here. There's been a huge fight in our government over whether the Prime Minister sent an email or not about helping a friend of his. Some very harsh words have been uttered over it and now it's looking like some senior officials and politicians are in hot water not just politically, but with the law. The one person who seems to be coming out of this squeaky clean - our fearless leader. By crikey, he's tough! It seems that anyone who wants to throw mud at the moment, had better make sure whose mud it is, and to throw it in the right direction or it will come back all over him. Or to use another analogy I used to husband - if you're going for your political opponent's jugular, you'd better make sure you've got your dentures in! Enjoy your Monday. Marg
