G'day, folks. My recovery is getting a bit shaky. After doing well on Saturday, doing not bad yesterday morning before I wilted at lunchtime - today I have not been so good. I saw the doctor with mother in law - I wasn't the patient, but the doctor had a bit of a look and wasn't too happy with the bit of 'heat' in my post-op breast. I'm a couple of cup sizes bigger on that side, plus I was finding I felt increasingly shaky and almost faint. So when we got back home, I went to bed and stayed there. I didn't feel nay better, although no fever, so I rang the breast Care nurse who talked to the surgeon for me. Upshot of it all - I have to take antibiotics after all. So tomorrow I need to get my spare prescription filled, but I always keep a couple of spare pills so I've been able to start already. I'll ring my Infectious Diseases specialist too (the one who oversees what antibiotics I can be given). husband will be with me tomorrow, he's driving, we have to take difficult child 3 out for appointments that we had to cancel because of my cancer diagnosis. After that we have difficult child 3's drama class, and some kids there who I think need to see that I'm through the surgery and doing well (I'd better be, by tomorrow night!). I've posted a bit on site today but I'm only on the site a little, I'm mostly resting. I feel like I slept all afternoon, but I still feel 'weird'. No fever, but it feels like it. I AM getting there, but this is a bit of a hiccup in my recovery. So enjoy your Monday, everyone. Your summer weather should be heading your way soon. Today here was definitely autumn! Marg
