Just a quick update - I'm sure I did the right thing beginning the antibiotics, I'm feeling a bit more human this morning (Tues). And I have been resting, although I did go out on Saturday and on Sunday. But I set it up with escape clauses plus the car to rest in. That car is brilliant for someone who needs to rest! Arm movement - it's great. I've got pretty much full range of motion. This morning I'm seeing the physiotherapist, she also saw me yesterday (in passing, I was there with mother in law) so she is aware of how I looked. MY GP rang this morning - I have an appointment with her this afternoon, I'll organise the spare antibiotics prescription with her plus get her expert assessment of the wounds. Today (Tuesday) I have the option of staying in the car and resting while husband takes difficult child 3 in to his appointments. I need to go out with husband & difficult child 3 though, because it is the only way I can get to my doctor. The one I saw yesterday with mother in law is just a friend, I could see her in an emergency, but she isn't my primary GP. So I've been behaving myself, I still haven't driven the car although I feel I could quite safely. There's just a few too many things still wrong when according to what I've been told, they shouldn't be. The one good thing is - I've not got the restriction on physical range of movement, I think because the armpit incision is quite low down and not deep in the axilla. I'll update tonight, probably on Watercooler. Marg
