After husband had his heart attack, my perspective on lots of things changed. Although I didn't "talk" about this here, prior to his heart attack, our relationship had been very rocky - The two main sources of friction were difficult child issues and our worsening financial situation. We took each other for granted - We no longer respected each other or wanted to spend time together. We were headed downhill quickly!!! The day husband had his heart attack, my world changed permanently. difficult child issues and financial issues just didn't seem to matter as much. I just prayed that husband would survive and get better... My prayers were answered - It has been over a month and husband is gradually improving. He is taking much better care of himself physically and emotionally. While I'm still worried about his health, he is slowly gaining strength and energy. He is feeling much better. It is sad that it took such a tragic event for us to realize how much we still mean to each other. We are working hard to get our relationship back to where it used to be. The bottom line is that we still love each other deeply in spite of the chaos we're living through. I honestly think we're going to make it. husband is still here. I'm grateful every minute of every day that he is still in our lives. This is the best news ever!!! WFEN
