G'day, people. Sharon/WO, I hope the PT can help your pain levels. Not good. Kjs, here's hoping difficult child puts the free time to good use and gets some exercise. TM, I hope you get all your errands run. Jennifer, good luck with the job-hunting. I wish I could be more lively after only 5 or 6 hours of sleep! We had a busy day today, got a lot of work done. I've found some possible circus work for easy child 2/difficult child 2, I'm waiting to hear back from her about whether she's interested. girlfriend is moving tomorrow to the apartment she and difficult child 1 will share when they're married, in three weeks' time. And I managed to get an appointment for difficult child 3, with a new specialist who has a fabulous reputation. We're still running a Red Queen's Race trying to get difficult child 3's schoolwork done. He worked very hard today, he kept working for several hours longer today to double his output. And tonight he watched a docudrama with us, although very little of it sank in and he was reading a comic book; I bribe him with game time extension - for every minute of gaming he loses by watching the documentary with us, he gets the same time added to his curfew. He can bank the time or use it all in one night, depending on how much staying power he has. Considering he's been cheating on his curfew anyway, what is happening is we're getting him to watch TV with us for nothing. I worked on my new frilly petticoat tonight, I got it far enough along to realise I need to unpick and make it frillier. Tomorrow. I'm too tired now. Tomorrow I leave him on his own while I take mother in law to the doctor. But he'll still have to work - I will be expecting completed work when I get home. Tomorrow night we have a Halloween party to go to at his friend's place. First time ever, to a Halloween party! He's probably going as Harry Potter, all I need to do is give him a cape to wear and a wand to hold. Maybe draw a scar on his forehead if he wants. Enjoy your Thursday. Marg
