G'day people. Sharon/WO, good luck getting that workout fitted in. Sharon/LDM, I hope you can get difficult child's hair cut sorted out to his satisfaction. The last time I did a buzz cut, it was on a girl I don't know and in front of an audience of hundreds, to raise money for leukemia research. She wanted her head shaved publicly; I chose to leave about quarter of an inch in case she needed a margin of safety. TM, I hope Duckie's Maths test goes OK. Enjoy the colcano pointing. If you want to give it a name, look up that Icelandic volcano... but you have to learn how to pronounce it. Fran, look after that eye. Be very careful about sneezing after that surgery. I hope you feel better soon. We've had a really busy day today. I'll post in Watercooler in more detail and I did describe our intentions earlier in the week. But basically, first thing we headed to the pain clinic via the pathology where I had fasting bloods taken. The pain specialist agreed I need to get my shoulder joint injected. From there we went to oncology for my first set-up appointment for the radiation treatment. Saw a lot of different people about that, would have seen more but I'd booked the shoulder injection and we were in danger of running late. Had the injection. Went to have lunch. Headed for my next appointment, the neurologist. From there, we organised our new mobile phones then headed home to get dinner with mother in law again. difficult child 3 worked well on his own today, I am pleased with him. I'll reward him with a driving lesson tomorrow. And now we're back home, I'm hot-packing my injected shoulder (the neurologist agreed we did the right thing getting the shot). husband's help today was invaluable. All of this done in one trip, instead of having to make about four or five separate trips over who knows how many weeks. Enjoy your Thursday, everyone. Marg
