Good Morning all. It sounds like many are still experiecing winter. My daffodils are about to blossom although everyone assures me winter will raise it's ugly head soon. This is just a tease. My family visited over the weekend and loved the area. My mom is still here for a few days. Sharon, good luck with difficult child and getting things going in a positive direction. Hopefully they will come up with a better plan that is long term and on going instead of band aid hospital/medication/therapy. easy child sounds like a regular teen who is going to stir the pot with you since difficult child is soaking up all the parental attention. easy child;'s are funny like that. They get what they need by positive or less than positive ways. I hope it isn't a pattern. Hugs. Timer, how nice that Kt is doing jewelry. Sounds very creative. It's always nice to send them to school that first day. I must say I prefer hmj to tea any day but it's what I grew up with. mrscatinthehat hope your drive isn't as bad as you anticipate. Be safe. LDM, I have that whole laundry thing happening too. Fortunately mom loves to fold laundry and it's not too much standing for her. Marguerite, I hope they figure out what's going on with your exhaustion. I'm sure it is frustrating. difficult child continues to exhibit some of his ODD behaviors that made him not too successful at the last program. Outbursts that worry the staff continue when difficult child is frustrated. Doesn't leave me optimistic that he will succeed. He has 4 1/2 months to show us that he is willing to do what he needs to be part of this community. I suggested to difficult child that maybe they should call the police when he seems threatening with his rage. He would meet real bullies. No judge will care that he "was upset". No criminal will care how difficult child "feels". difficult child didn't really enjoy that conversation. I told him that despite having good functioning and high IQ, he was acting idiotic and that all rest was negated by his anger. He doesn't like that conversation either. We will see but it seems the same old, same old. :badmood:
