I wasn't only the scapegoat but my mother did beat me when I was younger, in fact my brothers took part in that too and I remember my mom just sitting there allowing it to happen or she would ask me well what did you do to them? she would allow my brothers to discipline me as if they were the parents. My mother and father divorced when I was 10 , he was an alcoholic and did stop drinking, not the best role model for a father however he never put a hand on me and would come to my defense against my brothers and my mother and I think my mother resented my father for defending me, my father also never put me down and always complimented me on my musical talents, a compliment, something my mother never gave me!
