The lady gave me a quote to do a "deep clean" of our 2,000 sf house for $150 (badly needed), then a weekly cleaning at $65. I'm having her do the deep clean on Tuesday. (A waitress in this state makes $2.13 an hour plus tips which are taxed and they have to pay payroll taxes on.) I told her I'd decide whether to keep her depending upon how clean it is. I hate to be that way but I can't do it myself and the last lady left the house half done and stepped out at least twice for a smoke every time. We're tidy, but I can't do scrubbing. It will be sheets on one bed, and the tub/shower in only one of the two bathrooms. No stairs, no laundry. I have to have the help.
