Here we talk about developing a rhino skin-a tough skin for the words, I'm better at it than I used to be but words do hurt. It is important to know that you are not alone. My daughter has a real difficulty with apologies but as she is getting older I'm beginning to enjoy her much more; she is starting to realize that her words hurt others.
I just saw a Mother's Day card yesterday that said something to the effect of, "Raising children can be the greatest joy in your life or feel like a life sentence depending on the day." I could definitely relate!
