[QUOTE="klmno, post: 308566, member: 3699"] Thanks, Susie! I am looking at the state list now- the problem is similiar to the in-home therapist situation. There might be plenty around that offer services we/difficult child need, but typically, the ones that Department of Juvenile Justice funding pay for will just be focused on behavior mod. Now, since difficult child is coming out of Department of Juvenile Justice and the judge ordered Department of Juvenile Justice to provide mental health treatment, it might be possible for their funding to cover it. I'm looking through the list now to see which providers accept Department of Juvenile Justice funds. If I can propose a couple and I can get difficult child's therapist in Department of Juvenile Justice to recommend this instead of JUST behavior mod, I think he might do it. Actually, if Department of Juvenile Justice reccomends it and Department of Juvenile Justice funds don't cover it, they can go to the county team and asked for their funding but that doesn't go over very well- it takes a lot of advocating. I'm thinking since this PO is at least somewhat reasonable and not like the last PO, I might have to educate him a little on difficult child's specific issues - which I never would have shared with the last PO- or I should say, I started to and quickly learned my lesson. LOL! The reason this matters is because since this is the jurisdiction that committed difficult child, they have to be the ones to write up his parole requirements- even if I move before difficult child's release and the file gets transferred.
