my son is 9. he was diagnosis at 7.5 with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), but we think he may have aspergers as well. he had a thing with odd numbers. he couldn't handle anything being odd, not the volume on the tv, to the nu,ber of strawberries on his plate. he counted footsteps all the time, and had an overwhelming urge to make the same movements with both sides of his body. think brushing your teeth. he would make the back and forth movement with the hand NOT holding the toothbrush as well. he also had some germ issues/fears. he is in therapy,I have searched the net for his treatment and buy books on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) to get him cured as early as possible and he has conquered a lot of the above mentioned stuff. Good Luck
