THAT IS GREAT!We can't ask that another adult change. We can only change ourselves.There are non-profit agencies that help people handle these kinds of financial crises as well as government aid. She has proven that with support she can take care of herself and her son. That saying about teaching somebody to fish, instead of giving them the fish comes to mind. I don't know where you live but if it was me I would start suggesting AFDC (aid for mothers with dependent children.) They should help her train for a new occupation. Jewish Vocational Services will help anybody.
