We think it is simply male docs not knowing/caring about the female plumbing in adolescents. They cetainly do not have any understanding of how a personcopes with chonic pain, esp severe pain, and can "Woman Up" and go on with life as much as possible. I did FINALLY get ahold of an on-call doctor. He was reluctant, but did agree to call in medications for 2 days for pain. He says she should go to the ER if it gets worse. If we need an ER we will go to one with a large women's health center. NOT our local charge em and street em with no treatment hospital. I am just frustrated and upset my girl is in so much pain, and we are at a standstill. I hate that she may be facing a lifetime of pain and problems. Thank heavens for all your support and for the internet for research and locating docs. Thanks. Susie
