It's only been a couple of days and you ladies are correct, if we have to be on him 24/7 then he's not ready. I am researching Residential Treatment Center (RTC)'s right now so that we can fix our mistake sooner, not later. Today we brought him to the probation officer who drug tested him (he has been unable to access any drugs since Jan. 2, the day he went into diagnostic program) and gave him a curfew of 7 p.m. If he breaks curfew he goes back under house arrest. If he continues the b.s. he could very well go to juvenile detention before we're able to find an appropriate Residential Treatment Center (RTC). I am very grateful to everyone who posted about their experiences. I think we made an emotional decision which is unfortunately not necessarily in our son's best interest. After we left the PO's office he promised that he would goto bed early tonight, to work tomorrow, would follow the rules, just so he could stay with us. We'll see. The only thing I can be certain about is that neither my ex nor I want to return to the way we were living just prior to his going to rehab. It would be like asking us to stab ourselves.
