Midwest Mom-thanks to you and Susiestar and the others for continuing to check back on this thread and reply. difficult child is diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and bipolar can occur together, can't they? My difficult child's 'high's' can be triggered by anxiety, but they can occur for no discernable reason as well. He went 'manic' after coming off strattera in the spring-two weeks of pure energy (and destruction). He had a bad time with Zoloft- both I've read can cause adverse reactions if given to a bipolar child. Maybe I'm trying too hard to pinpoint it to bipolar, but it just seems to go beyond what is Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)/adhd. I don't know. Thanks gals.
