[QUOTE="Arielle, post: 128521, member: 4621"] [COLOR=darkorchid]None of the professionals that I have seen (neurologist/child psychiatrist, developmental pediatrician or psychologist) have indicated that they thought she had Aspergers. daughter has great eye contact and communicates her feelings well with respect to getting her point across. She wants people to like her and at times she seems older beyond her years. She just doesn't like the word "no" and to be told do do something she does not want to do. She thinks she is an adult and not a child in these type of scenarios. I will discuss this with her psychologist at the next meeting. husband is not open to further testing of daughter right now. He barely wants to continue with the psychologist and thinks it is wasted money. I was against getting a tutor for daughter because the actual homework is in and of itself not the problem -- she can do it.
