Not feeling alone is SO VERY important for all of us here. When I found this site in the middle of the night about 4 or 5 years ago, it was one of those desperate nights where you feel so alone and so tiny and fragile.....and then I began reading my own story on these pages........what an incredible gift. It helped me through a very dark time. I am glad you found us......there is an entire tribe of warrior parents here, trying with all our hearts to love our kids and let them go........probably the hardest thing any of us will ever do. And, the truth is, we're doing it! And you will too. Keep posting. Get as much support as you can. Join that support group. I was in therapy, in an additional therapy group, in a 2 year codependency group, in CoDa groups, I read everything I could get my hands on and I wrote and read on this site daily. And, I made it through to a place where I actually feel peace. If I can do it, you can and anyone can. It is hard. It sucks. But it is doable. I'm glad you're here. Keep posting. It helps.
