Stims alone sends David manic. He can't do stims by themselves. Because of the pharmacy having to order his Risperdal David went a few days on only a stimulant. I noticed a difference with the Risperdal. It kept the stimulant in check mood wise, but didn't do anything for his anxiety and BiPolar (BP). Then the psychiatrist gave us Lamictal and that is supposed to help the BiPolar (BP). Its a bit better but I don't think its competely working for us.The stims are for the ADHD and the mood stablizer is for the BiPolar (BP).
