Cedar, you absolutely have my laughing out loud when you talk about Aunt Bea or Cher. You cant have Roseanne because I swear her TV show was modeled after my family life.
Speaking of those obnoxious toys. My dad used to get my boys all these toys that made horrific noises. I think the worst one was this ray gun that spun around and all these colored flashes came out and it screeched like a banshee at ear splitting levels. He always handed them to the boys right as he was leaving too...lol. Never occurred to me until I had grandkids that he was being evil!
