G'day for Sunday.
TM, I'm sorry your hay fever is acting up again. Oh, the perils of Spring! Allergies are one reason for being sleepy. It is exhausting to have the problem.
We've had a fabulously warm day today. I did take my swimsuit to church and after we'd all had lunch, I went for a short swim. The water was warm, it was hot when I came out of the water. I would have liked to stay in longer but my shoulder is hurting badly at the moment and trying to swim was painful.
We came home, got on with other tasks. husband fixed the computer (at last!) and we went down to mother in law's in the evening to cook dinner. We've discovered she's not eating anything else much during the day; she tried to tell us she'd had some fruit for lunch, but husband knew exactly how much fruit had been in her fruit bow, and nothing was missing. Meanwhile the food we'd left in the fridge for her, was untouched. She likes it, she just forgot it as there. We're worried about her, it's as if she's stopped trying to think about things, just reacting at a gut level instead, following old habits. Lots of little things, like cooking potatoes on the stove even though it would be quicker and easier to use the microwave oven.
husband almost set fire to the microwave oven tonight, though - he mis-programmed mother in law's microwave when cooking rice, ended up incinerating it on HIGH for 50 minutes. We set off the smoke detector and ruined my microwave jug. Oh well... it's not as if this happens often.
Tomorrow my cleaner arrives but it's her late week, which is a problem - I'll have to leave early to get away to a specialist's appointment.
The cool change has come through - a cool breeze, but tomorrow will still be too warm for most autumn days. Tomorrow will be a busy day! But productive...
Enjoy your Sunday.
