GVC- I wouldn't worry about it at this point and I wouldn't consult a lawyer unless your h is actually fired. I think preventatively making copies to keep at home is a wise thing.

Your h's company has insurance for this type of thing. Its likely the insurance company will settle it out of court w no admission of wrongdoing. Happens all the time. Easier and cheaper for the ins co to write a check than to go to court. Most plaintaff lawyers who take this type of case are looking for a quick payout and a sure thing. IME, any time an insurance company can settle for under 10k- they do so without any regard to whose right or wrong. I bet it goes away.
