My niece is a genius!

So, I was in my car with my 3 year old grand daughter this morning and "Woman" came on. I looked in the mirror and said 'that's the Beatles', (she likes the Beatles). She looked at me and said, "Papaw, that's just John Lennon"...................

Well................of COURSE she's a genius........she gets it from her AUNT BECKIE!!!!!!!!!! What a sweetie!

Maybe it's her favorite song... or a favorite of someone she is close to. Hear someone else being corrected often enough ("I like that Beatles' song..." - "no, that's not the Beatles, that's John Lennon")... and it sticks in a kid's brain.

We (my sisters and) have all been training her in good music but my youngest sister has really been drilling her on the Beatles. Step, we haven't really started her on Queen or Bowie yet but that's definately on the list!
