They think he shattered his cheekbone. They are doing an MRI right now. I may or may not hear from his mom again tonight, but that is what I know so far.
On a somewhat related note, Princess Sparkle Fanny (Michelle, Matt's girlfriend) is showing her true colors. When J (Beefcake's mom) called me to tell me what happened in the first place, she asked if I would call Matt because she didn't have time to be calling all his numbers to try to reach him. (For those not in the know, Matt is Tink's father and the father of my 3 stepsons, AND father to an 18 month old with PSF) I called the house and talked to PSF. Asked if Matt was there, she said he was outside. I told her what happened to Beefcake and asked her to tell him to call J right away. And hour after this happened, J called me to update me and told me that she had still not heard from Matt. She tried calling the house as well as PSF's cell phone, but there was not an answer on either line. Needless to say, she was fit to be tied. She had to go back into the hospital so she had to turn her cell phone off.
I tried calling the house and the phone rang & rang. I tried calling the cell and it went straight to voicemail (meaning it was off). A few minutes later I called the cell phone back with the intention of leaving one NASTY message for Matt, but he answered. I said "Have you EVEN called J yet?" He said he just walked in and heard the news.
OMG, are you kidding me? She could not walk outside (he was fixing her car) to tell him that his son got hurt? And THEN ignored phone calls? I have one long list of names I'd like to call her, but I'd get censored and then banned. I cannot believe how selfish she is.
Grrr. OK, vent over.
I will update more on Beefcake when I hear something...
Sounds like PSF is well on her way towards that state of decay...
