During this whole scary court process I recieved some links and ideas from several people here. These led us to a couple things that others may find helpful.
In our state there is a mental health court for teens-when my daughter is no longer a run risk, she will get this. It provides a PO that goes to the school weekly and they meet weekly at the court house. I'm told this exists in many other states.
NAMI- they connected me with a parent advocate. She knows the sytem, resources and has experience as a parent of a mentally ill child (so you're not talking to the wind!)
