Here we go again!
He calls it pruning, I call it hacking. He doesn't really have this art down yet. It's a big California pepper tree, and what it needs is thinning/lacing out. husband never cuts the branches back close and leaves these unsightly stubs, not to mention he does not have an eye for keeping it balanced. Ugh. I'm meeting a friend for lunch and I just hope he doesn't mutilate the poor tree too much! I tried to talk him out of it by citing his back problems, and, heaven forbid, what would happen if he fell while I was gone?
