in my opinion it's time to stop taking care of all your dysfunctional kids and take care of yourself. You can't change them, but you don't have to be hurt by them or have no life of your own because of them. Are you in therapy? I feel bad that you seem to be so sad and isolated. It doesn't have to be that way. They are making their own bad choices. At their ages, it is no longer your problem and you have a right to a great rest-of-your-life. It's too bad hub runs away, but you can STILL make your own support system...they don't have to be family. You ever look up a Codependents Anonymous meeting? I gained a huge support system and many friends in such a group of wonderful people...family isn't always what we'd like them to be.
