It's not on my list of frequently shopped retailers anymore since becoming a stay at home mom and living on one income, but sometimes I get something good at their sales... and it's always a treat to just walk around the store and take it all in. I have been able to find hard-to-find bra sizes in our local N store, so that's been a bonus. Maybe you can find something on their website that you DON'T have to try on that you'd like for yourself. </p><p> </p><p>Jo, I was thinking of going to see that movie today with my mom (since my in-laws are stopping back over before they leave town tomorrow) but was hesitant based on the review I'd read. Maybe we'll see that one afterall!</p><p> </p><p>husband and I agreed to not exchange gifts this year because he bought not one, but TWO plasma/lcd TVs last summer, and even though it was bought on time with no interest, our finances are not great. He only spent one evening shopping this year (the 23rd), and that was to pick up a last minute S.C. gift for difficult child 2 that I specifically asked him to do, and he also got me some coffee beans and the "Mama Mia" dvd. That was a nice suprise. easy child also gave me a little photo clip that she purchased at her school's holiday boutique -- it was very sweet of her. My uncle got me for the gift exchange, and he gave me a gift card to a nursery that I don't usually go to since they're so expensive, so now I guess I have a reason to go there! The in-laws gave me ten bucks, and sister in law#1, who drew my name this year, gave me a lovely beaded necklace and earrings.</p><p> </p><p>It was a very strange Christmas for us. We're accustomed to having a dozen or more people over to our house for a huge dinner and party. This year it was just us and three others. Plus it rained all day. While I enjoyed the relative calm (no pun intended), it would have been nicer to see all the people we didn't this year (my dad's too sick to travel, my brother has been absorbed by his in-laws-to-be, my other uncle's family went up north to go skiing with friends, yada, yada, yada). </p><p> </p><p>husband said I should get up early and go to the after-Christmas sales today, but I really don't want to spend the money, and in all honesty, I don't really need anything. It's already past 9:30 this morning, and the whole house is still sleeping.
