I had to convince the oral surgeon that my twin teen boys did not need a narcotic. We told him addiction is in the family and that another option please. He said oh, we are aware so we don't prescribe that many!! Seriously??? This is how the medical field is dealing with opiates,
Holy cow, with that said, Advil and Tylenol got them thru after the shot during surgery.. so glad that is over!!
