Geez... all the critters are having babies around here!

    gcvmom Here we go again!

    difficult child 1's Alligator Lizard laid SEVEN eggs today.

    If we keep them warm enough, they ought to hatch by mid-August. (Providing she was fertilized before we caught her... otherwise, lizard omelette anyone?)

    And we've got a mourning dove sitting on a nest on the side of our garage (we've named her Lovey Dovey):

    She's been there a week already, so I expect to see some hatchlings/squabs by the first of next week!

    AND... one of our fence lizards looks very preggers, so we could have some interesting activity in that cage soon...

    Never a dull moment here! :D

    OMG I love the dove! She's so very pretty and sweet looking!! I'm not such a big fan of lizards per se. Nichole had some for a while......but naw, never could quite get attached.

    Looks like there are THREE more eggs in the lizard cage -- 10 total now!

    I have to say you can keep the lizard eggs. Pictures are more than plenty....and don't you dare talk to easy child about them. I will never her the end of it.
