G'day, people. Sharon/LDM, sorry about the power failure. We used to lose our internet access, if we lost power. husband now has a battery-powered independent power supply for the computer, so I don't have to go into withdrawal with you people! Sharon/WO, I hope you get the sunny weather you expect. Linda, I hope you manage your week without getting too stressed or escalating your pain levels. Mstang, enjoy your course. I hope you get plenty of beefcake to enjoy during your lunch break! It's been another summery day here today. girlfriend & difficult child 1 turned up mid-morning. difficult child 1 has the day off, and for some reason didn't come home last night. They've been here all day, I invited girlfriend to stay for dinner, plus she has a standing invitation to stay overnight, which i think she is doing. I had to see another specialist today, about my kidneys. At least THEY are currently behaving themselves! husband is home tomorrow, then on Wednesday difficult child 3 & I have a study day at school, plus I see my GP on the way home. I'm hoping for some answers and maybe some strategies. It's looking more like the neurologist could be right - polymyalgia rheumatica. From everything I read, it sure feels like it. I'm going to call the pain specialist in the morning, get some advice from him about medications. At least with warmer weather, the pain is easier to manage. Enjoy your Monday. Marg
