G'day, Sharon and all to follow. I felt strong enough this morning to do some essential shopping. It was more difficult than I had expected. I got most of it done, but came home to rest. I did take difficult child 3 to the beach this afternoon - the water was a bit too cold this afternoon, probably all the storm activity up and down the coast, so I stayed in the sun for a while. Then the clouds came over and we got a light shower, so we went home. The rain is expected to set in tomorrow afternoon, for about a week. I sat out in it this afternoon for a while, today was so hot that being out in a downpour in my swimsuit was really refreshing. Lots of summer fruit still available - I bought another case of mangoes, some bananas, seedless grapes, fresh lychees and plenty of salad vegetables. A local gardener collected some chicken manure from the chook house and has promised some cucumbers in exchange. easy child 2/difficult child 2 is still not well. She sees the specialist next Wednesday. She still has to get some blood tests done before then, I'll try to arrange an appointment for her tomorrow. Because she refuses to go out in the sun at all, I bought some Vitamin D capsules for her today. It's a worry, walking a tightrope between melanoma and rickets. I think a quiet day tomorrow would be a really good idea! Now I have a houseful of food, I can plan a few summer meals. Maybe use the rainy days to teach difficult child 3 some new recipes. Enjoy your Thursday. Marg
