G'day, folks. Sharon/WO, I hope you can get some rest before the year's workload starts. I hope easy child's new friend meets your approval. Andy, good thinking about the laptop. I hope you can get caught up with your work soon. Sharon/LDM, I'm glad you got a good workout. Today was my cleaning/cooking day. difficult child 3 did some schoolwork but as usual on my busy days, didn't work as well as he usually can. I was trying to rest, because tomorrow is going to be busy and tiring. We did have an interesting time when our two budgies finally discovered one another. It was almost at the end of the recommended quarantine period, so we let them get to know one another. Fascinating! But I'm a little anxious about tomorrow - we usually leave our older female budgie out loose for the day, with the new one (still getting to know the house) locked up. But tomorrow we'll be out for quite a while, and our feathered friends really seem to want to get to know one another better. If we leave them locked up in their separate cages it won't be fair either. Tomorrow difficult child 3 has a study day at his school and I have a Learning Team meeting at the same time. I'm hoping to organise a CT scan while I'm out, on the way home. Plus some grocery shopping. I'll have armfuls of folders (difficult child 3's completed schoolwork, for the meeting). difficult child 3 is frantic to get home early because he invited some friends over, but somehow I don't think we'll make it. Life is interesting... Marg
