G'day for Thursday. Sharon/WO, enjoy your trip to Michigan. I remember driving around in temperatures like that, when we were in New Zealand. It was a lovely trip. Extra nice to be in a warm car! It's increasingly warm here in the run-up to Christmas. One day I'd like to experience a winter Christmas, but for me it will always be tropical fruit, relaxing on the beach with family and long holidays. difficult child 3 is in the wind-up to te end of school year. Because he is doing one subject for final year, that one rolls over and has already started. All his other work, he's not supposed to start until the new school year in the end of January. But this school has already put up some of the work for him, to give him a head start. husband is taking off a bit of time, we might take a few days visiting easy child. Or we might just stay home and relax a bit, it's been a hectic year. Today - a quiet day at home, although I had a lot of fiddly little business things to attend to. Getting back to my writing tasks also. Tomorrow I have to see my eye specialist, a check-up over my retinal bleed a few months ago. difficult child 3 will have to drive me, I'm not allowed to drive for a few hours after the eye drops. There is a lovely cafe over the road, we went there last time for coffee and a sandwich. It was good for us both to just sit and have a quiet lunch together. The weekend is going to be busy again, but not too bad. Just full, I guess. Enjoy your Thursday. Marg
