Good morning Sharon and Sharon:happy: ,and those to follow. Our sky has that heavy grey palor, so think we're more apt to get the cats and dogs treatment than the beautiful spring day treatment. The weather is making a mess of the end of the year school activities which are kicking into gear. My 16 yo will be taking a big school trip and we decided a debit card would be easiest. He did have to open a checking account. It was so strange seeing his name on the checks, but come to think of it I could get used to that real easy if it means he's paying his bills! 14 seems so young but I wish we had done this earlier like you are. Today is our last formal academic day for my daughter's homeschool year. Tomorrow we do a history/science field trip, Thurs-Friday is camping with- some nature study, and next week she's working on a scrapbook of her year. I can't believe how fast it's gone! Last week we enrolled her at the junior high for next year. We've had so much fun--I'm really going to miss it and am pretty sure she will too. Enjoy your night off of cooking, Wipedout! The hardest thing for me about homeschooling is that the kitchen and the schoolroom were one. We're constantly shoving aside the schoolwork on the table for a meal, misplacing the math tub, stumbling over the science equipment tub, moving aside the microscope to prepare a meal....and don't even ask me where all this stuff is going to go now that we're done! Have a good day, everyone!
