Hey Janet....beef in a can

I was at the store this evening and while I didn't see the other brand, here is a picture of my favorite canned beef. The store I was at doesn't have the selection that the other two in town do but there are other brands of this stuff.

It looks interesting. I know I havent seen that specific brand here but we do have Sweet Sue stuff. I will have to check out that section of the store.

Well.....kinda! LOL I had posted the other day about my husband being intelligence challenged and mentioned canned beef. Janet was pretty interested so because it was her....I withstood the weird looks and stares and took a picture of the canned goods at the store tonight.

Canned beef, huh? Hmmmmm. That could make some recipes go faster....... I'll have to look into that. I knew about the chicken and such....but don't think I even noticed the beef. lol

I've tried a few brands (though not this one) and in my opinion, the stuff tastes and looks like Alpo for humans.

Of course, I won't eat canned chicken or potted meat or the like either.

Blech.
