How's the exercising going?

OK, maybe I overdid it today.

Over the weekend, we went to a Bat Mitzvah. Let's just say the food was plentiful, and I didn't like the number I saw on the scale this morning. So I went for a 30-minute walk before the kids got up. And then once I dropped M at tennis camp, I tried a new 60-minute strength training class at a local gym. Every muscle in my body aches tonight. I feel muscles I never knew I had.

How's it going for you?

SW-I can understand why you are sore! It might be time to soak in a nice bath. :bath:

I'm doing o.k. right now. In the last week (now that school is out)I've increased the length of my workouts. On the days I have only cardio I've been doing 60 minutes. On the days I have both weights and cardio I do 40 minutes. In addition two of the days that I had weights and cardio I also walked my dog 3 miles.

Eating has been o.k. but not great. In fact I'm making some hot buttered popcorn in a bit and we are going out to breakfast tomorrow morning with sister in law and niece. However, I did try a new pork low fat recipe today which tasted great and over the weekend I didn't overdo. In fact, Saturday after we went to a casino my sister in law was buying custard at Culvers for all of us-I passed it up!

I'm feeling good even though not much has shown up as a loss on the scale. I refuse to get discouraged right now!

Thanks for posting....I just did my 30 minutes on the treadmill and then a little weight work....just don't have the energy I used to and something is up with the old back....I'm fine standing, sitting, walking....just can't bend or squat without aches....

Working for stronger muscles....and fewer aches....
