She came in here crying and yelling and I lost my train of thought. I sent her to her room to calm down because I have had zero patience the last two days (lovely fatigue...sigh) and we were just feeding off each other. The thing is, she wants me to hold her hand through everything. If we're working on math (her hardest subject) she'll see the lesson overview and yell (that whiny yell), "I can't do that! It's too hard!" Haven't even gone through the lesson yet to learn how to do it. Then when I try to help her she's in that same frame of mind that she can't do it and that's that. We'll go through this for an hour, then all of a sudden she calms down and we can get somewhere. We are in the approval process for a school-funded tutor that will come out and work with her once or twice a week. Because of my health I just can't do as much. And for my sanity, I need help with her with schoolwork.
