My Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) son wants to take driver's ed. What are your thoughts if you have a spectrum kid? I think he can learn to drive and I want him to, but I was thinking 18. First off, insurance for boys is sky-high. Secondly...I don't really know...lol. He's such a rule follower that I know he won't speed and he certainly won't do drugs or drink and drive...but he does tend to get nervous even when *I'm* driving...lol. Maybe it's my driving??? Well, I've never had an accident! But still...when is the right time to give a kid a license? Need some feedback.
