WOOHOO somewhere I can actually admit I love to watch America's Next Top Model and Top Chef - and then all other like it that if I watch one episode I have to watch the rest of the season just to see who wins. I had a Bichon Frise for 14 years (was my baby) and his first hair cut the groomer I took him to massacred his cut. The hair on his back was so short you couldn't pinch it between your fingers and on (part of) the legs was still over an inch long. The top of his head the hair was over 1/2" shorter on one side than the other (the head is only about the width of your hand across). Not to mention the clipper burn around his tender bits. When I told her the haircut was all wrong, she told me there was nothing wrong with it, I had no idea what I was talking about. Found a good groomer, but then found some some good clippers cheap and to save money did it myself for years. Even my first try was better than the first groomer I went to. There is a skill to it, just like cutting hair for people.
