Our town opened up yesterday, against governor's directives, and the county south of us voted to reopen with no restrictions, even though that county has the highest number of positive cases in our area. I can't help but wonder about a spike in positive cases because people are feeling confined and/or invincible. Personally, I don't mind being home. I'm reading, watching TV, walking around the neighborhood, on the computer, or talking on the phone. I go to the store when I need to, take care of what needs to be taken care of, then come home and shelter in place. I do miss the kids at school; the teacher I subbed for the most has a sixth grade, and she had an awesome class. I would have liked to be able to say goodbye to them before they head off to middle school.
