Sharing Important Info: Resource For Everyone

This week I took difficult child for an updated neuro-psychiatric evaluation and sat in the waiting room for seven long hours. :whew: Maybe God
had a purpose in having me sit and read everything in the waiting
room..lol. I had not explored Chadd in decades. Do you all know
about Chadd? If not, I have been reminded of the organization and I am gob-smacked (stealing Kris's expression) by how very sophisticated and extensive the group is now. Back in "my" day
there were five people and a parttime office!

Visit http://www.chadd.org if you have a difficult child (child or adult) with AD/HD
or related issues. Their magazine "Attention" is crammed with
resources, suggestions, web sites for Tourettes and other related
disorders. There were a Godsend for me in the 60's and 70's. If
you haven't explored them yet, I highly recommend you find time
to see what they have to offer. DDD

PS: I introduced my school board to Chadd and formed a support
group for parents dealing with ADHD. As I climb closer to 70, I
am "rediscovering" things  that I used to know inside
and out!

Mom? What's a difficult child?
Thanks DDD!!!
I love CHADD and I get Attention... I believe even if your difficult child is undiagnosed it still has great resources and info as well as tips. I use anything I can get my hands on!!! Be it for mental illness, autism, adhd... I just tweak it to fit with my girls... Or sometimes it just helps. Despite a diagnosis.

Even if you have rule out adhd I would still check out the website once inwhile, they have good school tips also, for all special needs kids.

Good info!!!
