So, it looks like difficult child only flunked one class ...

He came home Tues, his first day back, and told me he's got all the same classes and one new teacher, in math.
I said, "Does that mean you didn't pass?" I don't KNOW! he yelled.
Sheesh.
I emailed his math teacher and she said he flunked the exam, and she placed him in a different class, and then yesterday she moved him again and she's waiting to hear if there is room. She said the teacher was the best.
I still haven't seen the grades. They won't be mailed until at least Monday. Arrrgh!

Well, it's only been two days. I haven't said anything to difficult child. Just in case it doesn't work out. In the meantime, he was convinced he's in a continuation of Algebra that goes all year. Nope. He is repeating it.
I'll discuss it with him in the a.m. when he's in a better mood. He's not very friendly after 9 at night.

So, yesterday difficult child came home and told me he has yet another new math teacher. So that change did go through. And he has figured out he is repeating Algebra I.
At least, I think he knows. I'd better make sure. He'll be here any min.
Still no report card ...
