The school psychiatric just called me again. The first time I talked to him, it sounded like he didn't think difficult child was going to be eligible. And I told him that when I talked to him today. He said that after talking with the other team members, he has the sense that difficult child's issues run deep and really do impact her in the classroom. He's only one person on the team, but it's looking like a go. I'm still having PCA attend the meeting and shadow difficult child in school the day of. I'm not leaving any stone unturned. He did ask for a release to talk to the PCA and to therapist. So, maybe this won't be a fight afterall.
