We had black widows in our house and garage when we lived in Alabama...which is very close to Georgia.

How did this turn into a terrorize Kathy thread?

This time I am really going to go to sleep (and hopefully not dream about this thread).

Did anyone see on CNN where a load of venemous spiders were in a load of granite shipped from somewhere and got off the boat with the granite and NOW live in Hawaii? Entemologists said "unless they start bothering people" - DUMB.....

And how about the spider tree in Texas?? Cool.

SOS....a Mouse spider in resin or not WOULD give just about anyone the willies. They have such huge fangs.

BUT a Palmetto bug or a cockroach will make me squeal like a little girl and cause a new door to be built in a wall at the mere sight of one. When I lived farther south I got bit by a flying palmetto bug in my sleep, woke up and there it was staring at me. Anything that can survive nuclear fallout is the devil. Palmetto bugs....are gigantic cockroaches. It's just no one wants to say "OH I had a gargantuan sized roach in my home."

The board sensored cockroach? No wonder everyone says Palmetto bug. My apologies.
