Cat & Chicken vs. Mouse

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes out my back door.

Our cat Harley caught a mouse and was toying with it in the grass. It took off across the yard and one of our hens caught sight of it. Next thing I know, my cat and chicken are BOTH chasing after this poor mouse trying to catch it!

easy child and difficult child 2 went running out there to rescue the rodent, which promptly tried to bite easy child.

Never a dull moment here in suburbia.

Beware the Curse of the WereRabbit!

I can understand why the rabbit would attack the snake -- since snakes eat baby bunnies, there was probably a burrow nearby. But that's definitely a FIRST for me! WOW.
