The Wizard of Oz had it's closing show tonight and Duckie really enjoyed being a munchkin, an Ozian, and a flying monkey. The good news is that she was able to mostly hold herself together through the grueling rehearsals & performances, the start of the school year, an illness and a serious allergic reaction. The bad news: she's interested in doing more, lol!

The director told me today that they are looking to start a smaller (much smaller) troupe for primarily children's performances and Duckie is on the list to contact because of her great attitude and ability to follow directions.

Sounds like it was a huge success for all concerned!!:) How great that she wants to continue!

Okay, I don't think you can call her a full-fledged difficult child if the words "great attitude" and "follow directions" can be used in a sentence describing her!!!

That's great to hear she had so much fun.

I never said she wasn't a difficult child toward her family... she just held it together well at the theatre.

Glad she was able to hold it together...after corralling the others during the performance, a Duckie meltdown was the last thing you needed.
