Good Morning All!

It looks like we have a beautiful day ahead of us. The sun is shining and it looks glorious outside! Now I just have to find a way to keep our Ella from digging holes in the back yard. I do believe it is her new found hobby.

After work I need to get the week's groceries since we didn't do our shopping like usual on Saturday. I know I'm not going to feel like doing that.

Not that I'm counting or anything but after today we only have 19 days of school left:)

Wishing all a beautiful day:)

Good Morning Sharon (WO) and all who follow,

Sharon, We're supposed to see the sun again today too:sunny::smiles: but still have a few showers left in the forecast. However, I'll take whatever sunshine we can get! When we had our yard, although my favorite sanity saver liked to dig, she enjoyed rolling even better. And, I don't just mean rolling for the fun of rolling, rolling in something a skunk, rabbit, etc... had left behind was her idea of the perfect day:sick:! I've got to go to the grocery store too. I guess I could find enough in the refrig, cabinets to put together something for dinner but I think some fresh fruit, veggies would be nice.

Already on my third cup of coffee. I'm starting to get that morning "jolt" I need to begin the day... Hope everyone's morning is off to a good start... SFR

Good morning Sharon, SFR and those who follow!

Sharon, I don't blame you for the countdown...lol. Enjoy your day, sounds lovely (despite the grocery shopping).
SFR, I'm on my first cup and while it's calm out now, we are in for some major stormy weather! Enjoy your day!

This morning, easy child and I are going out to breakfast. She is leaving for Africa today and it's all that is on my mind. She's so organized and efficient and ready, I'm in awe of her maturity. I think her boyfriend is coming over later to spend e day with her. I have some appts later and we leave for JFK around 4:30. God, I am going to miss her!

Enjoy your day everyone!

G'day, people.

Sharon, if you can give a dog a special place to dig, 'seed' it with bits of dog food to encourage them, they can learn to leave the rest of the garden alone. One of our lifestyle shows a couple of years ago had a dog-friendly garden design. Brilliant! Their starting point was to watch where the dogs preferred to go, and design the garden around that.

SFR, we're getting a long dry spell. They were saying on the radio, we could end up breaking records here for the longest May dry spell in Sydney. However, tonight there was a heavy dew and that can be enough to officially break the drought.

I've had a busy day. I took mother in law out to the specialist who has ordered another set of nerve conduction studies. husband reckons the doctor can use a stopwatch. mother in law was really struggling today, has been getting worse quite rapidly. There was no way she could have come shopping with me and walk around, so I hired a mobility scooter for her. And wonder of wonders, she used it! husband said she was tired tonight, but not as bad as she would have been. Tuesday night is one of my nights off, I have my opera choir class on Tuesdays.

Tomorrow is another busy day but it will start quietly. difficult child 3 has a test at college, then I will collect him at lunchtime, take him to a driving lesson then to drama class.

Enjoy your Tuesday.

The difficult children are at school right now. The easy child's are fighting. I do get to go shopping for diapers today. I also need to mail some paycheck stubs to the SSI. And I need a nap.
