Office software suggestions?

I hate to shop for anything even software, lol. Do any of you have word software
the will sort alpha or numeric with-o a hassle? I've had two programs that included the
word "Word" but I don't remember which was which after the hard drive wiped out.

Microsoft Office contains Word - and it's probably the best of the bunch, in my opinion.

HOWEVER - free - go to www.openoffice.org - their stuff's good, too!

Step, I was just about to make the very same recommendations.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, I'd start with the openoffice suite.

Word will sort that way, but it is kind of a hassle. However, Excel, which is part of the Office package, sorts alpha and numerical easily.
