a very nice person that was lost yesterday and her family. She used to work with husband for many years. About a year and a half or so ago she was diagnosed with ALS. Unfortunately she declined very rapidly. I won't be able to attend any services for her as I am here in Mississippi still. But if you all could say some prayers for her family while I am it would be great.

Hugs, prayers and thoughts being sent... difficult child's first pediatrician had ALS and died within about a year of diagnosis. Apparently, it is very fast-acting disease, unfortunately. It is very sad for the family.

Beth, I'm sorry for her family - but I'm glad it didn't go on and on and on for her. It's a brutal disease, and now the chains that were forming on her body and spirit have been unlocked.
